New page

Setting up contract quantities for polyurethane slab jacking can be tricky business. It's difficult to estimate what it will take to raise the slab where you want it, particularly on smaller dips. It is a good idea to set up a minimum amount, such as 200 pounds for small dips across a 24-foot roadbed. For really small dips there is, of course, a matter of diminishing returns (it's difficult to make much of an improvement, so sometimes you pump material and end up with something that doesn't ride much better - you're better off diamond grinding through the area and get a superior result). It seems that bigger dips are easier to get a close quantity on - at least percentage-wise.
