For the Reduced Speed Ahead Sign for temporary traffic control:

I noticed in standard plan 616.10AL that is effective 8-1-09, that it states "FOR SPEED REDUCTIONS GREATER THAN 20 MPH. THE SPEED LIMIT SHOULD BE DONE IN 2 STAGES."

But in Fig. 616 for Signs and Devices Legend it states "(4) USE ONLY WHEN SPEED REDUCTION IS 15 MPH OR GREATER BELOW POSTED OR NORMAL SPEED LIMIT."

I assume the Fig. 616 needs to be updated to the new standard. Just wanted to let you know, if no one had mentioned it to you.
