Materials incorporated into MoDOT work shall be provided by the contractor unless stated otherwise in the contract.  It is the responsibility of the contractor to use quality materials that meet contract requirements.  Material requirements are specified by the corresponding Sec of [https://www.modot.org/missouri-standard-specifications-highway-construction ''Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction''].  In order to streamline the approval process, some materials belong to a pre-qualified list of products.  

This article provides a source for MoDOT's pre-qualified or pre-established lists. ==Bridge==
The [http://www.modot.org/business/standards_and_specs/bridgequalifiedprod.htm Bridge Pre-Qualified Products List] contains current pre-qualified products for many items used in highway structures.  This list is applicable to MoDOT purchases and construction contracts.

==Materials==
Construction and Materials has [https://www.modot.org/materials Pre-Acceptance listings (PAL), Qualified listings (QL) and Crashworthy End Terminal listings (CETL)] that designate products for many items used in the construction and maintenance of MoDOT bridges and roadways. The lists are applicable to MoDOT purchases and construction contracts.  The [[106.17 New Product Evaluation|New Product Evaluation Form]] serves as a request to test new products for addition to the PAL, QL and CETL. This form and the required documentation may be mailed or faxed to the [http://sp/sites/cm/Pages/default.aspx Construction and Materials] Division.
